About Us

Dreams without limits

Our Story

We are a group of space enthusiasts who, in 2023, won the prestigious "International Space Settlement Design Competition (ISSDC)".

Inspired by our success and driven by our passion, we founded an association dedicated to encouraging young people to explore their interest in space. Our association aims to inspire and educate, sharing the excitement and knowledge of space exploration with others. Through workshops, lectures, and outreach programs, we seek to ignite the same spark of curiosity in the next generation that was ignited in us.

Our Team

Pablo Asenjo’s journey in space competitions began as a participant, drawn to the challenge of solving complex problems within a simulated industry environment. Over time, he transitioned from competitor to mentor, playing an active role in supporting and expanding the **Space Design Competitions (SDCs)** in Spain. His contributions led to the co-founding of **SPSIN**, a non-profit organization aimed at providing young people with hands-on learning experiences in aerospace and engineering.

With a background in **Computer Engineering and Cybersecurity** from **Oxford Brookes University**, Pablo has worked on various high-impact initiatives, applying his technical knowledge to bridge the gap between education and industry. His focus has always been on leveraging technology to create meaningful learning opportunities for students and aspiring professionals.

Beyond his technical work, Pablo has had the opportunity to mentor young talent, contributing to projects that encourage innovation and problem-solving. He believes that access to education and technology can empower individuals to make a lasting impact in their fields, and he continues to explore ways to support these efforts.

While there is still much to achieve, Pablo remains committed to fostering collaboration and inspiring future generations. His approach is guided by humility, curiosity, and a genuine passion for learning, making him an engaged and supportive member of the **Space Design Competition community**.

Enrique's passion for space began early, fueled by a deep curiosity about the universe and the potential of human exploration. This interest naturally led him to the Space Design Competitions (SDCs), where he discovered not only his love for problem-solving in space-related challenges but also his aptitude for teamwork, communication, adaptability, and problem-solving under pressure.

Over time, Enrique transitioned from being a member of the winning team of the ISSDC 2023 to volunteering in the following editions, and now he is co-organizing the Spanish Space Design Competition (SPSDC) alongside his colleagues, which aims to give Spanish students the chance to immerse themselves in the dynamic world of space design and simulation.

Outside of the competitions, Enrique is currently pursuing a degree in Physics at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and likes to spend his free time playing sports and listening to music.

Pablo Cerdeira is a Computer Engineering student at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria (UFV) with a passion for technology and innovation. At SPSIN, they focus on developing and optimizing the organization's technological infrastructure, bringing expertise in software development, systems management, and cybersecurity.

Although not originally from the aerospace sector, Pablo plays a key role in ensuring that SPSIN’s digital platforms and IT solutions run efficiently, supporting various projects and initiatives. Their problem-solving skills and adaptability contribute to enhancing the technological backbone of the organization.

Beyond their academic pursuits, Pablo is committed to leveraging technology to promote STEM education and inspire the next generation of innovators. Their technical knowledge and proactive approach make them an essential part of the SPSIN team.
