As the deadline loomed, student teams at the 31st International Space Systems Development Conference (ISSDC) raced to finalize their proposals. Among these was Grumbo Aerospace, featuring a Spanish team whose dedication led them to secure second place.
The intense competition, marked by sleepless nights and collaborative effort, showcased the spirit of innovation. Vulture Aviation emerged as the winner, but Grumbo Aerospace celebrated their impressive achievement. A newly introduced Creative Genius Award, in memory of Anita Gale, honored the most innovative participants, adding to the event's significance.
Sponsored by SPICA and APCAE, the Spanish team’s participation made a lasting impact. The team enjoyed a memorable day at the Kennedy Space Center before celebrating their accomplishments together, promising to return even stronger in future competitions.
